It's definitely not because it's ugly and looks like a last gen game, either. I guarantee you that I wouldn't have been as scared or enjoyed Outlast as much if it had PS3/360 graphics. Realistic graphics does more than you think to lure you in and make you feel as if you're actually in a game.
